Victory Points – VP
Victory Points are the main currency of our platform. Users earn VP by winning tournaments and competing in Pro-Leagues. When you deposit money into your Victory Up account, it will be given to you as Victory Points at an exchange rate of 1 NZD = 1 Victory Point, which you then use to enter tournaments to earn the big prizes. Tournaments pay out in Victory Points which users can withdraw as real-world money.
For team tournaments, the team captain will select their team members to use for the tournament. If the entry fee is VP, this will be divided between each team member and removed from their account.

As a teacher or staff member, how do I start a team at my school, for the Wellington Secondary eSports League?
Just like any sport in the Wellington region, team entries must be entered via College Sport Wellingtons entry system ‘EnterNOW’. This is done by the school’s sports coordinator or the teacher in charge / convenor.
Each team will consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7. It’s also a good idea to check with your I.T department to see if the school is ready to participate. They can refer to the Tech Guide below.
